Pastry class *Cake for October Earl Grey and orange*

Our talented Chef Sonya, who launched and created Sachère in 2014, decided that the best way to keep her recipes alive after closing her shop is to share them with you.

The classes welcome beginners and are also uniquely suited to adults. The class can be given either in English, French or a mix of both. For the continuation of the pastry classes once the Sachère shop is closed, Sonya will continue her classes in another location, a coop kitchen in Mile-End. During these lessons, you will learn how to make the famous cakes created by Sonya, among those of the gluten-free and vegan options available.

During the classes, you will:

1 - Bake an Earl Gray cake base in teams of two.

2 - Demonstration of the orange cream filling.

3- Demonstration of a ganache whipped with white chocolate.

4 - Demonstration of the cake assembly.

5- Assemble the cake yourself.

6- Decorate your own cake, use and learn how to work with pastry bags and tips and take it home.

Each person has their own cake to take home which serves 6-8 people.

USEFUL AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• We will provide you with your apron, all the equipment necessary to make your cake and also all the decorations for the finish.
• At the end of the class, you will be able to take the recipes and your own cake (serving 6-8) with you home.
• Each class can accommodate a maximum of 4 participants, with a minimum of 4 people for the class to take place. 
• Classes will be given every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each lesson lasts 2h30 and we ask you to be punctual please :) 
• The address of the course location is 5333 Av Casgrain, suite 311 (3rd floor) at Mile-End.
• Enter through the front door of the building and wait in the Ground Floor. I'll wait for you there so we can all go up to the kitchen together.

POLICY, CANCELLATION AND REFUND:

If, 72 hours before the course, the minimum number of participants is not reached (4 people), we will arrange with you to reschedule your course or refund you. Classes are given in English and French and the option of having mixed classes is possible.

You have the option to cancel your reservation up to one week before the event. If you cannot attend the class, you can give up your place to someone else, but please note that we will not issue refunds or class replacements for "no shows". THANKS!
